Home hair masks!!

With being at home and unable to go

anywhere I thought now would be the perfect time to give my nails and hair a break from extensions as much as I didn't want to. :( Having my hair out means that I can get some good treatments on there to get it strong and healthy, here are a few that I recommend....

Palmers Coconut Oil Conditioning Protein Pack

This hair mask is amazing! It is designed for dry, damaged hair and includes coconut oil, monoi oil, keratin protein, silk protein and coconut milk. All of these ingredients work towards strengthening and repairing hair that needs replenishing.

I used this myself roughly 3 days ago and with bleaching my hair for years and using heat on it most days it was definitely due some care! I can already feel that my hair feels softer, stronger and is starting to get a shine which it is normally lacking. Make sure you shampoo your hair first and if you can leave treatment on for an hour or so to get the best results.

They come in single packets however I found that I can get 2/3 uses out of one packet so its great value for money at £3.93. Link for product below.

Revlon 3in1 Nutri Colour

This is my go to hair mask that I will use regularly even when I have my hair extensions in. For anyone that doesnt know I have a flat track weave so this means that the hair stays in all the time even when washing.

I love this hair make because it does 3 treatments all in 1!

  • Its a treatment that will help dry damaged hair

  • Its a toner for blondes

  • Its a conditioner to give shine

Being blonde I often find that my hair can go quite yellowy so I like to use silver shampoo to get more of a white blonde however many silver shampoos can cause snapping and dry your hair out. This mask is perfect because you can tone your hair without the damaging effects - Bare in mind number 1002 is targeted for blonde hair they do masks for all different hair colours so check before you order.

I use this after shampooing maybe once a week and if you have the spare time I like to put it on and leave in for 10 mins before washing out just remember to keep a couple inches away from your roots. Link below.

Coco & Eve Like a Virgin Hair Masque

This is a hair mask that I am still yet to try but have heard amazing things about it. The thing that I like about it is that it targets heat damaged hair and with most girls using heat on their hair every day this will make a massive difference.

The mask is also a 5in1 treatment..

  • Restores dry damaged hair

  • Improves hair texture and shine

  • Hydrates and deeply conditions

  • Treats split ends and tames frizz

  • Transform your hair in only 10 minutes

This hair mask is slightly more expensive than others at £34.90 however comes in a small pot so you can get many uses out of it and it is 100% vegan and cruelty free! Link below.

I hope some you manage to give these a go and give your hair some good care while we are stuck at home. Keep an eye out for more beauty tips and blogs that I will be posting weekly. Kate xx
